Sweet was established in 2003 by Nat and Talia, creating 100% hand crafted confectionery, specialising in the art of rock candy.
With the first products being sold at the Art centre market in Christchurch before opening a retail store at Northlands Mall (6 years later moving to Riccarton Rd) in Christchurch.
A second store was opened at Sylvia Park Auckland in 2007.
While we loved being at these locations, with interaction with our customers, life changed after the Canterbury earthquakes of 2011 changing the dynamics of Sweet over the following years, with the closing of the earthquake damaged Riccarton site and Sylvia Park in 2013 with the end of the lease.
Concentrating on wholesale, online and market locations the Sweet brand continued on before reopening a retail store again in 2022 Papanui Christchurch, which is where we are based today.
All our products are once again made in front of the customer, making a visit to Sweet the full experience for the senses.
While the location has changed for Sweet over the years, we have always kept the love of lolly making at the heart of what we do.
Sweet offers a full range of rock candy flavours as well as a large range of hand-made lollipops.
Custom and personalised rock candy is also available for special occasions or corporate events.
